Sri Rao, former head writer of “General Hospital: Night Shift,” has signed a first-look development deal with Netflix. First up is the soapy drama “The Henna Artist” starring “Intrusion” actress Freida Pinto.

Sri Rao (“General Hospital: Night Shift”) has signed on to write and executive produce an untitled Bollywood comedy for ABC alongside Priyanka Chopra.
