Get ready for the ultimate soap star reunion when veterans of ABC Daytime's "All My Children," "General Hospital" and "One Life to Live" come together for a special one-night Broadway event to support those impacted by COVID-19.

ABC, CBS, and NBC are not in the the mood to show you the fantasy of daytime drama on Christmas day. The networks have decided to ignore it's female demographic, and go after the men and children in the house courtesy of Christmas specials and sports, sports and more sports.

In the last couple of years ABC Daytime has had a nack of hiring actors and actresses with Broadway backgrounds, most noteably Renee Elise Goldsberry ("The Color Purple"), as Evangeline Williams and Kathy Brier ("Hairspray") as Marcie Walsh on ABC's "One Life To Live." Now the network has hired Broadway star Christian Hoff for a recurring role on "All My Children."
