In addition to "The Bold and the Beautiful" becoming the <a href="https://www.soapoperanetwork.com/2016/01/the-bold-and-the-beautiful-sole-nominee-and-defacto-winner-of-glaad-media-award">sole nominee and de facto winner</a> in the category of Outstanding Daily Drama, nominees for the "The 27th Annual GLAAD Media Awards" were announced today by the organization which recognizes and honors media published, released or broadcast during calendar year 2015 for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives.

As it prepares to close out 2014, which included the series enders of such noteworthy programming as "True Blood," "The Newsroom" and "Empire," HBO has released its annual year-ender video that teases what's to come in 2015 to the premium cable network.

During the Time Warner Inc. Investor Meeting today, <strong>Richard Plepler</strong>, chairman and CEO, HBO, announced that the company will begin offering a stand-alone streaming subscription service in 2015, which will provide programming from the Pay TV network to non-cable/satellite subscribers for the first time. Currently cable/satellite subscribers of the network are able to stream the network's programming via the popular HBO GO service.
