Just when you thought you’d seen soap star Crystal Hunt in the most outlandish situations ever (in her roles as stripper Stacy Morasco on “One Life to Live” and bratty diva Lizzie Spaulding on “Guiding Light”), she goes and pulls a real-life stunt that outshines any of her previous onscreen shenanigans: She smashed glass in a woman’s face during a soap-topping bar brawl!

A collection of Twitter and Facebook posts from current and former cast and crew members of “One Life to Live” during and following the show’s final days of production on its ABC Daytime run, which wrapped production last Friday.

Back in June at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, “One Life to Live” executive producer Frank Valentini alluded to Soap Opera Network that we hadn’t seen the last of Farah Fath despite her character, Gigi Morasco, being killed off. In our Twitter posting that night, we stated “according to Frank Valentini, more surprises in store for #OLTL. Have we seen the last of Gigi? Don’t believe what you see!” Come August, that’s never been more certain!

So you are considered one of daytime’s most popular stars thanks to roles on “Guiding Light” and “One Life to Live,” but what happens when your real life is more of a soap opera than the reel-life you had on one? Crystal Hunt knows what it’s really like as the actress got engaged to Dr. Philippe Spiess – a cancer surgeon on Christmas Eve, 2008. So what could possibly have gone wrong? More than you could imagine.
