“Good Morning America” is set to reveal the new “Dancing with the Stars” cast live on Tuesday, March 8, between 7 am and 9 am, on ABC. Over the years the competition series has featured an array of daytime stars, most memorably first season champ Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall, "General Hospital"). Might a soap star past or present be in the mix this time around?
The 10th anniversary edition of "Dancing with the Stars" will launch on Monday, March 16 at 8:00 PM, ET/PT, ABC recently announced. The competition series, which began in the summer of 2005 with "General Hospital's" Kelly Monaco taking home the coveted mirror-ball, will be without long-time dancers Derek Hough and Cheryl Burke, however.
Season 19 of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” will be hot, hot, hot! This season’s cast was announced today, and in addition to the many well-known celebs putting their hat in the ring for the popular mirror ball award are two former soap stars who will be hitting the dance floor, as well!
With a resume that includes “High School Musical” and several other dancing performances, it’s no secret that “One Life to Live’s” Corbin Bleu (Jeffrey King) knows how to get down and boogie. But the actor went the extra mile on last night’s episode of “Dancing with the Stars,” performing a contemporary number with partner Karina Smirnoff that impressed America — and the judges!
