“Brilliant Minds” has been canceled after just two seasons at NBC, mere weeks before the drama returns to the network’s primetime schedule with its six remaining episodes.
“Brilliant Minds,” the primetime medical drama starring Zachary Quinto and soap alums Teddy Sears (“One Life to Live”) and Al Calderon (“Days of our Lives”), is facing cancellation.
Al Calderon (“Days of our Lives”) is set to make his debut as Nurse Nico Silva in the Monday, October 20 episode of “Brilliant Minds,” and we have a first look at the actor in his new role.
With Al Calderon cast as a series regular on “Brilliant Minds,” the actor is departing “Days of our Lives” as Javi Hernandez. The soap opera will recast the role.
