“RIP Jeanne Cooper (1911-2013) Dead,” read an inappropriate tweet by tweeter @BravoMaxine, which was tweeted to twitter accounts @ebraeden @melodythomassco @victoriarowell. The tweet received a response from Victoria Rowell (ex-Drucilla Winters, “The Young and the Restless”) who said, “A special lady & great Native American actress.” Thankfully, we can report that Jeanne Cooper (Katherine Chancellor, “The Young and the Restless”), who was actually born in 1928, is very much alive as stated by Eric Braeden (Victor Newman, “Y&R”), “Contrary to some statement, Jeanne Cooper is doing better and sitting with her daughter Caren by her bedside!!”
When “One Life to Live” went off the air just over a year ago it was my favorite daily drama and it had been for quite some time. So, while the show’s ratings were rising, it was quite a shock to learn it had been canceled in 2011. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous with the series coming back, but this time without executive producer Frank Valentini and head writer Ron Carlivati.
On the Thursday, May 2 episode of “All My Children,” The OnLine Network finally revealed what the ABC finale in 2011 left viewers clamoring to know…Who Did JR Shoot? Fans will remember that the character was drunk and aiming his gun at at unknown individual(s) when shots were fired and the show faded to black. Now in 2013, we have our answer and sadly, some of you will not be happy.
The OnLine Network released the following breakdown showing how popular “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” were during their debut week on Hulu and iTunes.
After being released from the hospital this past weekend, Jeanne Cooper (Katherine Chancellor, “The Young and the Restless”) was sadly readmitted on Wednesday. With posts on Facebook, Cooper’s son, Corbin Bernsen, has been keeping friends and fans all around the world up-to-date on his mom’s current condition and things aren’t looking good. The actor said in one of his recent postings, “Please know that I’m not saying my mother’s life has ended, it hasn’t, but no matter how you slice it, she is in the final stages, whether it lasts an hour, day, month or years. I had to say ‘goodbye’ to her tonight ‘just in case’ as I’m traveling tomorrow to Vancouver for ‘Psych.'”
As we previously reported, Paos Revolution, the production company headed by “All My Children’s” Jordi Vilasuso (Griffin Castillo), has begun production on a new web series called ‘Perfect Day,” and while both the company and Vilasuso himself are in high gear prepping for the show’s launch, there’s a way for you to help make the dream come true!
Katherine Kelly Lang has been front and center as “The Bold and the Beautiful’s” Brooke Logan since 1987, and in a moment that feels like it should have happened years ago, she has finally been nominated for her very first Daytime Entertainment Emmy Award! And when reporters met the beloved actress on set hours after executive producer and headwriter Bradley Bell woke her with the exciting news, Lang’s glow was very much still evident.
Two writers from “The Young and The Restless” were given the axe.
There’s no doubt that “The Young and the Restless’” Michael Muhney (Adam Newman) is honored to have been nominated for Outstanding Leading Actor for this year’s Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards, but believe it or not, he’ll actually be rather upset if he takes home the coveted award come ceremony night!
