After a week of repeats, “Beyond the Gates” is returning with all-new episodes starting Monday, July 7, a representative for the series confirms to Soap Opera Network.
While not revealing the name of the show, AEW pro wrestler Anthony Bowens recently announced he has landed his first TV role on a soap opera.
Series creator Michele Val Jean has addressed the upcoming week of “Beyond the Gates” repeats scheduled by CBS and thanked fans for their passion for the show.
“Beyond the Gates” named one of the best TV shows of 2025 so far by Entertainment Weekly. The list also includes “Abbott Elementary,” “The Pitt” and “Severance.”
In addition to joining the show as an executive producer, Tracey Thomson (“Secrets of Sulphur Springs”) has also officially taken over as co-head writer of “Beyond the Gates.”
Although a reason was not cited by CBS, “Beyond the Gates” will air encores of its first five episodes, in place of originals, during the week of June 30-July 4, 2025.

CBS is expanding its storytelling slate with the launch of a new podcast series hosted by veteran soap stars Rebecca Budig and Greg Rikaart, aptly titled “Soapy.”
On Wednesday, June 25, “Beyond the Gates” stars Trisha Mann-Grant and Ambyr Michelle will sit for their first joint live interview with Michael Fairman.
