Due to breaking news coverage on CBS over Ukraine peace talks, “The Bold and the Beautiful” was nationally preempted on Monday, August 18.
As a result, the episode that was originally scheduled will now air on Tuesday, August 19, despite an earlier report from CBS affiliate WFMY, a Tegna-owned station, that the network had said it would air the episode during the overnight hours on
“The network said the full episode will air tonight at 1:38 a.m., giving viewers an opportunity to catch the program in its entirety,” the station, based in Greensboro, North Carolina and serving the Piedmont Triad region, said on its website last night.
Although that episode did not air in the United States, there are reports that it did air in other countries where the half-hour soap airs day and date with the U.S., including parts of Canada and Australia.
In markets not impacted by the preemption, a repeat of Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) 2021 wedding was aired.
As for the brand new episode, now airing on Tuesday, August 19, look for Luna (Lisa Yamada) to go undetected at Will’s (Crew Morrow) promotion party and play Will against Electra (Laneya Grace). Meanwhile, Li (Naomi Matsuda) lets Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) know that Luna has given them the slip.
