The Tuesday, May 27 premiere episode of NBC’s “Destination X” has averaged 4.2 million viewers across all platforms, doubling its Live+Same Day performance (+102% vs. 2.1 million).
Two weeks in, the new unscripted series saw a 20% week-to-week increase among Adults 18-49. Meanwhile, across all platforms, the series has reached more than 9 million viewers to date and has quickly become one of the network’s top five alternative series launches on Peacock.
In the episode titled “Catching Feelings Changes Everything,” airing tonight, Tuesday, June 10, Love is in the air as the journey continues and the clues get trickier. With romance brewing and red herrings in play, one player’s journey ends. Elsewhere, JaNa Craig and Peter Weber arrive and immediately shake up the game.
Hosted by Jeffrey Dean Morgan (“The Walking Dead”), “Destination X” is a bold travel competition series that sees Europe turned into a real-life gameboard as complete strangers are invited to participate in the trip of a lifetime and the ultimate geo-guessing contest as the adventurous players traverse each country on a blacked-out “Destination X” bus with the goal of figuring out where the “X” they are each week.
Relying on their knowledge of pop culture, history, geography and observational skills to win clues to their current location and earn an all-important advantage, contestants must tap into their own personal expertise, identify hidden clues that are disguised as artifacts and discern intentional misdirects from competitors to ultimately determine their whereabouts.
“Destination X” is produced by Twofour, part of ITV Studios, and Universal Television Alternative Studio, a division of Universal Studio Group.
Andy Cadman, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Emanuel Vanderjeudg executive produce alongside Twofour’s Dan Adamson, David Clews and Shireen Abbott.
