“General Hospital” star Rory Gibson (Michael Corinthos) is set to appear in an upcoming episode of “State of Mind with Maurice Benard,” the podcast series where fans can watch their favorite daytime stars, past and present, discuss important issues, particularly those relating to mental health.
News of Gibson’s future appearance was announced in a social media post on Saturday by the podcast’s host, Maurice Benard, who portrays Gibson’s on-screen father, Sonny Corinthos.
While an air date had not been set at press time, fans can be assured that the episode will be one for the ages, considering how deep conversations on the series can get as Benard addresses the topics most important to his guests.
Launched in July 2020, “State of Mind with Maurice Benard” focuses on mental health and mental health awareness as the Daytime Emmy Award-winning actor and New York Times bestselling author (“Nothing General About It: How Love (and Lithium) Saved Me On and Off General Hospital”).
Following each episode’s release on YouTube, an audio-only edition is later made available to all major podcast platforms, including Spotify, Amazon Music, iHeartRadio, Apple and Google Podcasts.
