This week on “Days of our Lives,” the soap within a soap, “Body & Soul,” prepares to tape its first episode, but before that can happen several relationships need to be rekindled, including the friendship between Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Chanel (Raven Bowens). Meanwhile, Johnny (Carson Boatman) gets an assist from Paulina (Jackée Harry).

Leo (Greg Rikaart) shares some news with Bonnie (Judy Evans). Stafan (Brandon Barash) fights for Gabi (Cherie Jimenez), unaware that EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) is preparing to launch a defamation case against his brother. Brady (Eric Martsolf) sits down with Marlena (Deidre Hall) to discuss his feelings for Kristen (Stacy Haiduk). Elsewhere, Abigail (AnnaLynne McCord) continues the charade against Chad (Billy Flynn), albeit she’s starting to have mixed feelings about it.
