‘The Locher Room’ to Welcome Guest Cameron Mathison from ‘General Hospital’

Cameron Mathison to hit "The Locher Room" on Valentine's Day as the "General Hospital" star discusses being four years cancer-free, his TV characters, and more.

The next person to sit down with Alan Locher on his podcast series “The Locher Room” will be “General Hospital” star Cameron Mathison, who plays Drew Cain on the daytime drama series.

Scheduled to appear LIVE on the Wednesday, February 14 episode of the series, fans can look for Mathison to talk about his role on “General Hospital,” being four years cancer free and a look back at his role as Ryan Lavery on “All My Children” where he received two Daytime Emmy Award nominations for his portrayal (2002, 2004).

In addition to his storied daytime career, Mathison will also be on hand to discuss his joining Great American Media, where he signed a multi-picture, multi-year deal to star in projects across the company’s portfolio of platforms, including cable networks Great American Family and Great American Living, plus streaming service Great American Pure Flix. Mathison has starred in two movies for Great American Family, “A Merry Christmas Wish” and “A Kindhearted Christmas.”

Mathison has cemented himself as a leading man, starring in several movies, including Hallmark’s “At Home in Mitford,” “A Summer to Remember,” “Very, Very, Valentine” and “Love, of Course.” He’s also starred in multiple projects for sister network Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, including appearing opposite Alison Sweeney (“Days of our Lives”) as the co-lead in the “Murder, She Baked” and “Hannah Swensen Mystery” movie franchises, among others.

As a television host, Mathison has spearheaded multiple projects, including SOAPnet’s “I Wanna Be A Soap Star,” the weekend edition of “Entertainment Tonight,” and the morning show “Home & Family” for Hallmark Channel, among others. He’s also been a special contributor for “Good Morning America.” 

In primetime, Mathison has appeared in episodes of “JAG,” “The Drew Carey Show,” “Desperate Housewives” and “Hot in Cleveland,” among others.
