AnnaLynne McCord is joining the “Days of our Lives” cast in the contract role of “Marin,” reports Deadline. She has signed a one-year deal with the series.

According to the outlet, McCord’s character is described as a “fascinating and complicated woman who is devastatingly beautiful, almost angelic in her outward appearance. The desire of many but her heart belongs to only one man who continues to push her away for her own good.”

Look for McCoord to make her Salem debut in the latter part of 2024.

Best known for her portrayal as Naomi Clark in The CW’s “90210,” an update to the beloved classic teen drama series “Beverly Hills, 90210” which ran on FOX, McCord has gone on to appear or star in such shows as “The Night Shift,” “Secrets and Lies,” “Let’s Get Physical” and more recently “Power Book III: Raising Kanan.” This year alone, she has starred in three films, including “The Weapon,” “Condition of Return” and “Dante’s Hotel.”

Picked up for two more years at Peacock in March, “Days of our Lives” celebrated its 58th anniversary last month, making it one of the longest-running scripted television shows still in production worldwide.

“Days of our Lives” is executive produced by Ken Corday. Janet Drucker is the co-executive producer, and Ron Carlivati is the show’s head writer.
