Using the hashtag “BingeTheBay,” fans can follow along with fans around the world as they discuss the happenings in Bay City, including the recent trip to Puerto Rico, where several chore characters found their lives hanging in the balance after being kidnapped and brought to a non-disclosed location by the nefarious Adam Kenway. With help in Bay City from the Police Commissioner Lex Martin and former Police Detective Nardo Ramos (Tristan Rogers and A Martinez), respectively, vigilantes Pete Garrett (also played by Andrews), Caleb McKinnon (Mike Manning), and R.J. Garrett-Foster (Najee DeTiege) set out to a remote island to find and rescue their abducted family members, including Vivian Johnson-Garrett (Karrueche Tran), Daniel Garrett (Eric Nelsen), and Tamara Garrett (Celeste Fianna). But will they arrive in time?
The eighth season of “The Bay” will see the final performance of the late Jacklyn Zeman (Bobbie Spencer, “General Hospital”) in her role as a psychic medium and southern belle Sofia Madison, who taps into coma-stricken socialite and town matriarch Sara Garrett’s (Mary Beth Evans) mind to discover she’s being visited by the spirit of her deceased husband, Lee Nelson (Joe Lando) and haunted by the ghost of her late grandfather, the corrupt Senator Red Garrett (Bruce Davison), whose spirit is said to have cursed the town after his drowning in the bay 30 years earlier.
“The Bay” is filmed at ATI Studios in Burbank.
