Maurice Benard to Appear on Talk Show ‘Lifestyle Magazine’

Maurice Benard ("General Hospital") recently taped an upcoming episode of "Lifestyle Magazine," where he appears as a guest discussing mental health.

Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos, “General Hospital”) will be appearing in an upcoming episode of “Lifestyle Magazine,” a talk show focused on living a complete, healthy and balanced life. The actor discusses his popular YouTube series “State of Mind with Maurice Benard” and topics relating to mental health awareness.

“It felt like a great interview,” Benard said in a post on his Instagram story, published yesterday. It includes a behind-the-scenes video of a conversation with one of the show’s producers wherein she proclaims, “What you are doing is amazing.”

Soap Opera Network has learned that Benard’s episode will air sometime later this year, likely in August or September, according to a rep for the show.

Benard previously appeared on the show in an episode dedicated to his personal experience with Bipolar Disorder (watch the previous episode here).

“Lifestyle Magazine” features panel discussions, interviews and demonstration segments focused on whole-life health, such as fitness, nutrition and relationships, among other topics.

Several familiar faces have also been featured on the show, including Kate Linder (“The Young and the Restless”), Hunter Tylo (“The Bold and the Beautiful”), John J. York (“General Hospital”), Bill Hayes and Susan Seaforth Hayes (“Days of our Lives”), Sean Kanan (“The Bold and the Beautiful”), Carolyn Hennesy (“General Hospital”), Ryan Paevey (“General Hospital”), Donna Mills (“General Hospital,” “Knots Landing”) Michelle Stafford (“The Young and the Restless”), Wally Kurth (“Days of our Lives,” “General Hospital”) and even ESPN host Stephen A. Smith, who, since 2016, has appeared on “General Hospital” as Brick, a tech expert working for the Corinthos mob family. A multitude of other daytime talent has also appeared on the show.
