On Monday, February 14, 2022, “General Hospital” debuted an updated opening sequence featuring mostly brand new images of the show’s cast and an altered version of the show’s theme music which brings a sense of immediacy to tuning in to what’s about to happen on the daytime drama series with the new beat sped up.

Featured in the updated opening thus far were cast members Roger Howarth, Haley Pullos, Charles Shaughnessy, Brooke Kerr, Nancy Lee Grahn, Chad Duell, Kristina Wagner, Johnny Wactor, Cassandra James, Sydney Mikayla, Marcus Coloma, Kirsten Storms, Josh Swickard, Amanda Setton, Tajh Bellow, Avery Kristin Pohl, Cynthia Watros, Laura Wright, Cameron Mathison, Kelly Thiebaud, Genie Francis, Maurice Benard, Donnell Turner and Maura West.
