Lia Maiuri Joins Corday Productions as Director of Communications, Handling All Publicity for ‘Days of our Lives’

Corday Productions names former NBC Universal publicist Lia Maiuri as Director of Communications, overseeing all "Days of our Lives" publicity.

Former NBC Universal publicist Lia Maiuri has joined Corday Productions, producer of daytime soap opera “Days of our Lives,” as Director of Communications. She’ll oversee all publicity and talent relations for the series along with any spinoffs or movies, which most recently included “Days of our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas.”

In her new role, Maiuri works closely with executive producer Ken Corday, co-executive producer/director Albert Alarr, and head writer Ron Carlivati, along with the show’s co-producer and distributor Sony Pictures Television and broadcast partner NBC.

Maiuri joined NBC Universal in 2016 as a press coordinator before transitioning to a publicist position. She left the company at the end of 2021 to join Corday Productions.

“Lia is a terrific addition for our team as she comes to us after her stellar work at NBC, which included her insightful publicity efforts for Days,” said Ken Corday in a statement. “Her transition from the network to our production has been seamless and we know we’re in good hands with someone so passionate about our show and its loyal audience.”

Outside of “DAYS,” Maiuri handled publicity campaigns for such shows as “Chicago Fire, “ “Chicago Med,” “The Voice,” “America’s Got Talent,” “Will & Grace,” and “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” along with the films “Van Helsing,” “SurrealEstate,” “Slumber Party,” “Massacre” and the USA Network original movie “Nash Bridges: The Movie.” She was also part of the publicity team handling the launch of “This Is Us.”’

Deadline was the first to officially announce Maiuri’s hiring.
