“General Hospital” star Marcus Coloma (Nikolas Cassadine) is celebrating his birthday today, and according to a post on his Instagram, it’s a tradition to “take a moment to reflect on the past. Just a moment.”
As part of this year’s reflection, he chose relationships. He says, “I’ve been in a lot of them. When I was younger, they were pretty toxic and clumsy. Not because anyone was particularly bad, it was just two people in a car who had never driven a car and didn’t know anything about cars trying to drive on a windy, dark road. We would inevitably smash into a tree. Well, after a decade of car wrecks, I unknowingly developed the bad habit of jumping out of the car whenever it looked like we were going to hit a tree. I lost the ability [to] differentiate between a good relationship with a past bad experience.”
To help him reflect on relationships of the past, Coloma has released a new song entitled “Hold On,” along with a music video directed and edited by Rob Filios. The two previously worked together on various other projects, including the music video for the song “Looking for a Girl.” “Hold On” was co-written by Travis Frith Warner.
Coloma notes, “This song isn’t about the car wrecks. It’s about the good rides that got a little bumpy, but I think they would have got us to where we were headed. Thank you for being a part of the journey!”
