On Wednesday, October 6, an all-new episode of “General Hospital” was suddenly pulled from the schedule to be replaced with a November 2020 repeat due to “ongoing breaking news coverage,” according to ABC.

Although there was a shooting at a high school in Texas that resulted in no reported deaths, and discussions by Senators over preventing the United States from defaulting on its bills by raising the debt ceiling, albeit even temporarily, there was no known major news story or event that would have prevented the network from airing “GH” uninterrupted. In fact, ABC News did not break into the network’s feed. Either way, the re-scheduled episode is set to air today, Thursday, October 7.

In the episode (#14825), Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) apologizes to Austin (Roger Howarth). Maxie (Kirsten Storms) has a realization about one of her friendships. Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) grow closer. Anna (Finola Hughes) seeks out Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), and Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) makes a startling revelation.
