‘Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem’ Will Be Available to Canadian Viewers at Launch; Free to Watch on Peacock

Just one day after the premiere date for the Peacock original series “Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem” was announced comes word that not only will the show be available to Canadian viewers in the North but it’ll also be available on both the free and premium tiers of the Peacock streaming service in the United States.

According to a report by ET Canada, the show will be available via On Demand subscription streaming service STACKTV and the Global TV app the same day the show premieres on Peacock. Subsequently, the show will air on the W Network and will be available to stream on the Global TV App beginning in October, according to The TV Watercooler. All Canadian properties are owned by Corus Entertainment. Parent series “Days of our Lives” airs weekdays in Canada on Global TV. (Updated Monday, August 30).

Back in the States, in response to a subscriber, the @PeacockTVCare Twitter account has confirmed that “Beyond Salem” will be available on both the free and premium tiers of Peacock. Note: The Peacock free and the Peacock Premium tiers include commercials. Peacock Premium Plus includes limited commercials for specific programming due to streaming rights obligations.  

As previously reported, the five episodes ordered of the limited series will release daily over five days starting Monday, September 6 before the release of the finale on Friday, September 10. Four sneak peek photos of the characters taking part in the series were released as they enjoy life “Beyond Salem.”

The spinoff series of “Days of our Lives” brings past and present residents of the town together over a long weekend as ISA agent Billie Reed (Lisa Rinna) crosses the globe in search of a missing treasure. The cast also includes Deidre Hall as Dr. Marlena Evans, Drake Hogestyn as John Black, Jackée Harry as Paulina Price, James Reynolds as Abe Carver, Victoria Konefal as Ciara Brady, Robert Scott Wilson as Ben Weston, Billy Flynn as Chad DiMera, Lamon Archey as Eli Grant and Sal Stowers as Lani Price. Eileen Davidson is also set to appear although her role has not been announced. Other featured players include Thaao Penghlis as Tony DiMera, Leann Hunley as Anna DiMera, Christie Clark as Carrie Brady, Austin Peck as Austin Reed, Greg Rikaart as Leo Stark, Chandler Massey as Will Horton, and Zachary Atticus Tinker as Sonny Kiriakis, who all join the hunt of stolen gems across the globe.
