Daytime legend and soap icon Susan Lucci (ex-Erica Kane, “All My Children”) is set to co-host the full hour of the Friday, January 31 episode of “The Dr. Oz Show.”
Lucci is being billed as a celebrity superfan for the episode, but the primary purpose of her appearance is to spend time with Dr. Mehmet Oz to discuss health topics and provide an update on how she is doing following a heart-related health emergency in 2018. According to producers, “Dr. Oz looks inside Lucci’s heart with a live scan.”
In addition to Lucci herself, look for her former “AMC” co-star Walt Willey (ex-Jackson Montgomery) to also appear as a surprise guest. The actors will also discuss the possibility of an “AMC” reboot, promised the actor in a tweet. “I surprise ‘my Susan’ and we discuss the possibility of an ‘All My Children’ ‘reboot. Wouldn’t that be something?'” wrote Willey on Twitter of his visit.
