Late last month, “One Life to Live” alum Erika Slezak (ex-Victoria Lord Buchanan) announced on her website that she’d be appearing in an episode of CBS’ “Blue Bloods,” airing Friday, May 3. With the date right around the corner, Soap Opera Network has your first look at Slezak interacting with the NYPD’s finest while in character.
In the episode entitled “Identity,” DNA evidence in a murder case leads Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Baez (Marisa Ramirez; ex-Gia Campbell, “General Hospital”) to identical twins with identical alibis. Also, Frank (Tom Selleck) learns Nicky (Sami Gayle) is interviewing for a job at the Justice Coalition, which he rarely sees eye-to-eye with, and Jamie (Will Estes) visits Eddie’s (Vanessa Ray) father, Armin (William Sadler), in prison.
In the images above, Slezak can be seen in character as Donna Duvall as she shares scenes with Len Cariou‘s retired police commissioner Henry Reagan. Tana Sirois plays her granddaughter, Alexis.
“It was a long but wonderful day and the entire crew, director, John Behring, and the writer, Daniel Truly, were all so terrific and easy and helpful. Just the nicest crew, made me feel so welcome and happy,” said Slezak on her website. “It was as if I had been back with our lovely people at ‘OLTL,’ the best ever.”
“Blue Bloods” airs Fridays at 10:00 p.m. ET on CBS.
