On Friday, April 5, the DOOL app will launch the original series “MB’s Kitchen,” hosted by “Days of our Lives” actress Mary Beth Evans (Kayla Brady).

The newest feature on the popular application will include Evans sharing some of her favorite dishes as she chats it up with her “DAYS” co-stars, including Galen Gering (Rafe Hernandez), James Reynolds (Abe Carver), Melissa Reeves (Jennifer Horton), Suzanne Rogers (Maggie Horton), Casey Moss (JJ Deveraux), and many more.

In a promotional video released on the app, Evans notes that when she first met her husband, Michael Schwartz, she only knew how to make keesh. She could make it with bacon, broccoli or any other ingredient. However, as time went on she realized that she was going to have to learn to make something more. After reading magazines and taking different cooking classes, Evans started to figure out what worked and “sort of built my repertoire, if you want to call it that, from being curious.” Crediting Martha Stuart as inspiration, Evans says things evolved from there.

“I have so many fun people coming in to show me their favorite things and how they make them,” says Evans. “These aren’t just my friends, these are your friends too. You guys are going to love it. It’s so fun.”

In a post on Twitter, Evans adds, “Join me and several of your #Days faves for some fun in the kitchen, yummy recipes and more! First full episode Friday, April 5th! Can’t wait for you to see what we’ve got cooking!” The official hashtag for the program is “MBsKitchen.”
