Coming of age drama “Savage Youth,” starring “General Hospital” alum Tequan Richmond (ex-TJ Ashford; “Boomerang”), is heading to Digital and VOD platforms on Tuesday, April 9, Dancing Bear Films announced this week.
In the film, Richmond plays the role of Gabe (aka: The Entrepreneur), one of six troubled teens whose lives intersect in a racially-divided small town taken over by violence, drugs and broken hearts. The story is based on true events.
Written and directed by Michael Curtis Johnson, the film also stars Chloë Levine (“The OA”), Grace Victoria Cox (“The Archer”), Will Brittain (“Everybody Wants Some!!”), Mitchell Edwards, J. Michael Trautmann and Sasha Feldman.
