“General Hospital” star Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) has signed a new deal with the ABC drama series, it was announced during a fan event earlier this month and during a recent interview with On-Air, On Soaps.

According to attendees of her event during the annual “General Hospital” Fan Club Weekend, Grahn revealed that she was pleased to be sticking with the soap which she’s called home since 1996.

While speaking with On-Air, On Soaps, Grahn reiterated her contract renewal, which she says went “swimmingly” when questioned about the status of co-star William deVry (Julian Jerome), whose contract at the time had expired — he recently struck a new deal with the soap.

“I hope it works out with Will,” said Grahn just days before word of deVry’s signing a new deal with “GH” came to light. “I literally know nothing. When it comes to contract negotiations it’s none of my business, or anybody else’s. It’s tricky stuff. I just renegotiated. Mine went swimmingly. Will’s is going how it’s going, and only he knows what that is. Having said that; I would love for him to come back.”

Speaking of her on-screen pairing with deVry, dubbed #Julexis, Grahn says, “I would love for them to continue this story in an appropriate and realistic way. The two of them are madly in love with each other -’madly’, I stress. They both come from very violent families, and it makes sense that they would be together. The characters just need to both understand and dig deep as to why they are there, and go through that, and come out the other side. That would be cool, and that’s how I could see them reuniting. Alexis and Julian are addicted to each other, and that has to be addressed.”
