It’s been a decade since fans of NBC’s “Days of our Lives” last spotted the likes of Bonnie Lockhart in Salem. That’s about to change when portrayer Judi Evans gets ready to pull double duty beginning Friday, July 21.

Evans, who appears as Adrienne Johnson Kiriakis on the soap, reprises her role as Bonnie when Anjelica (Morgan Fairchild) ropes another face from the past into her plan. Ironically, those scenes will mark the first time Evans and co-star Deidre Hall (Marlena Evans), who is also looped into the storyline via her own double, Hattie, will have worked together professionally. “Deidre and I had never worked together before and we just had a blast,” said Evans in an interview with Soap Opera Digest, on newsstands Friday. “We really enjoyed working together so much…. The writing is hilarious. I’m excited to see the fans enjoy it as well.”

Things get even stickier on the Monday, July 24 episode when the crew evolve plans for revenge.
