“General Hospital’s” Sonya Eddy (Epiphany Johnson) is taking a break from her Port Charles nursing duties to guest star on ABC’s “Castle” on Monday, February 8.
The episode, titled “Tone Death,” centers around a murder in the theater of Martha’s (Susan Sullivan) latest show. As Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic) investigate, they’re drawn into the unexpectedly dangerous world of competitive a capella.
Eddy is cast as Olivia “Mama” Toussaint. As “GH” fans know, Eddy has an incredible singing voice. She’s performed in the show’s annual Nurse’s Ball on a couple of occasions. Hopefully, she’ll get to belt out a tune — or two on Castle.
Incidentally, Eddy isn’t the only daytime star slated to appear in this episode. “High School Musical” and “One Life to Live” alum Corbin Bleu (ex-Jeffrey King) is in it, too. He plays Hunter.
“Castle” airs Mondays at 10:00 PM, ET/PT on ABC.
