With more than 30 years under her belt portraying Hope Brady on NBC’s “Days of our Lives,” Kristian Alfonso has signed a new contract with the daytime drama series that’ll keep her in Salem for the foreseeable future, reports Soap Opera Digest.

“I’m excited about the future and always humbled to be asked to stay with ‘Days of our Lives’ for another year,” said the actress to the magazine.

In an interview with Soap Opera Network earlier this year, in which the actress celebrated her 30th anniversary on the show (she first aired April 14, 1983), Alfonso said, “I would just like to say to the fans a huge gigantic thank you for all of the love and support they have given me over all of these years.” She added, “[They’ve made] me always feel so welcome.”
