Goodman, who called the news “So exciting!” on her Twitter page, is no stranger to daytime, having served as associate casting director for “Guiding Light” from 2007-2009.  She has also cast roles on “Third Watch” and “Law & Order: SVU.”  Her most recently project was casting the pilot of the USA Network series “Suits” back in 2011.

While no actual date has been given, production on the online revivals of “AMC” and “OLTL” is expected to begin sometime in February.

So far, only seven actors (Lindsay Hartley, Vincent Irizarry, Debbi Morgan, Darnell Williams, and Jordi Vilasuso for “AMC,” and Jerry verDorn and Robin Strasser for “OLTL”) have officially signed on to continue their former roles with their respective shows, however, more announcements are expected to be made soon.
