IT HAPPENED TODAY…
John’s reading of Vimal’s letter telling him he’s Liam’s father is pre-empted when Rex arrives demanding Echo’s release from jail. With so much evidence against her, John refuses and Rex reminds him he let Jack Manning go free despite having killed Gigi. John is concerned about the lengths to which Rex will go for revenge, having figured out Origami Cogs, the company that scooped Todd, is an anagram for Gigi Morasco. Rex tries to go over John’s head and appeals to Bo for Echo’s release, despite the fact that Echo’s kidnap victim was Bo’s son’s wife. Bo is asked to choose between Rex, who he has treated as a son, and his own biological son David.
Upset by seeing Brody, Natalie and Liam as a happy little family, Jessica suggests Natalie move out of Llanfair and in with Brody at the Angel Sq. Hotel, then bitterly warns Brody that Natalie still loves John and would be with him if Liam were his. After Brody leaves, the sisters’ fight escalates until it’s broken up by Ford. Ford comforts Jessica and when he asks her to join him and Ryder during his scheduled visit, she accepts. When John is away from his desk, Brody accidentally finds Vimal’s letter. Shaken to learn that someone else knows the truth that he’s not Liam’s father, he takes the letter seeks out Vimal. Meanwhile, John is troubled when the papers on his desk seem to have been rearranged.
Vimal’s parents arrive from India and look forward to seeing their pregnant daughter-in-law. Panicking, Vimal asks Rama to pretend they’re still happily married.
Kelly and Joey wake up together but their bliss is interrupted by Dorian, who has been happily reunited with David and invites them to the gala premiere of his movie. She later meets up with David and the happy couple extend the same invitation to Bo and Nora. Although not invited to the gala premiere, Cutter and Aubrey have plans to attend.
