(SoapOperaNetwork) — In a surprising move, “Days of Our Lives” has fired Co-Head Writer Christopher Whitesell. Whitesell joined the show in fall of 2008 when newly installed Co-Executive Producer Gary Tomlin brought him in to assist Head Writer Dena Higley.
Whitesell’s previous Co-Head Writer stints were at “As The World Turns” (2005-2007), “One Life To Live” (2001-2003), “Sunset Beach” (1998-1999) and “General Hospital” (1997).
