(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — “One Life to Live” Breakdown Writer Shelly Altman takes you inside the mind of a soap scribe as the current blogger for The Writers’ Guild of America, East’s (WGAE) new member-written blog “Write On.” According to Soap Opera Digest, “the blog will be written by members, sharing their experiences about writing and their careers.”
In her latest entry, Altman discusses how it’s all in the name when it comes to creating a new soap character, as well as the fact they she named two past recurring lawyers on “One Life” (Alex Cody and Morgan Guthrie) after her own children. You can read more of this entry, as well as others, by clicking here.
Altman has been a Breakdown Writer for “OLTL” since 2001. From 1995-99 she was an Associate Head Writer for “Another World.”
