(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — Alicia Minshew, who portrays Kendall Hart Slater on ABC’s “All My Children” is expecting her first child with husband& Richie Herschenfeld. Their daughter is due in November.
“Richie and I are so thrilled,” said Minshew in a statement to Soap Opera Digest magazine. “I can’t wait to be a mom!” Minshew’s pregnancy is not expected to be written into the show as Kendall is currently involved in a murder mystery storyline and the show has no plans to change course at this time.
Alicia joined the cast of “All My Children” in 2002 as Kendall Hart, Erica Kane’s (Susan Lucci) daughter after a childhood rape. In 2009, the actress received her first Daytime Emmy Award Nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in Drama Series in May for her work on the soap.
