(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — “Young and the Restless” viewers will continue to see a lot more of Michael Graziadei’s “Daniel Romalotti’ now that he’s renewed his contract on the daytime soap opera.

Although there is no word yet as to how long Graziadei’s new contract will be, the renewal itself seemed to have come right on time as a new storyline for his character Daniel begins the week of May 11th, where ‘Daniel’ is asked to go undercover for the FBI.

Graziadei, who joined the cast of “Y&R” in 2004 and nominated for two Daytime Emmy awards and one ‘Soap Opera Digest Award, has had time to work on guest star appearances in such shows as “Castle”, “Criminal Minds” which gave him the chance to work with former “Y&R” star, Shemar Moore, and “90210”. Graziadei also has several film roles under his belt, which includes: “Into the Blue 2: The Reef”, and “The Outsider”, which is in post production.

The Young and the Restless” airs Weekdays on CBS. Weeknights on SOAPnet. Check local listings.
