Wow go GH look at the gain of over 1/2 million total viewers from one year ago. The show has been great lately and the numbers are showing it. With Robin’s return starting this week, should see those numbers continue to rise!
SON has that wrong. According to their archives of ratings for last year GH had 2,528,000 total viewers this same week last year.
That just adds up to an increase of 249,000 which is still good.
In fact even the 18-49 increase is off from their numbers last year. From the numbers posted in the archive GH is actually up 97,000 in 18-49 instead of 75,000. That is a really good increase.
Mike that is very true regardless good numbers and that is a great gain in 18-49. When you consider that GH had increases a year ago very good week for them. Honestly Maura West I think is a big part of it, that and the Maxie/Dante/Lulu storyline has really garnered some interest
With Robin’s return coming today should be an interesting few weeks to see if the numbers do indeed increase. Hopefully Cartini has written a good storyline for her return
BB is closing on 3.0 and I want to see it happen…actually I want to see BB overtake YR altogether because YR is sucking the life out of it’s own soul with Dylan, Dylan, Dylan and JFP feeding the viewers crap….I guess you can see I’m not happy right now with YR and this close of turning it off altogether again as with MAB, YR is a big mess and not showing any kind of improvement in the right direction. It’s become the Steve Burton show and he’s just mediocre actor, plenty of great talent on YR but JFP is shoving Dylan down on CBS’s viewer.
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!, I’ve been preaching this for a year now! I also include gaspy Chelsea, Suzie homemaker Avery, and OVEREXPOSED Adam who does nothing but talk about Newman BS. Dear God, give the man a life already!
Congrats to DOOL! They deserve this rebound.
So much for your stupid claims that after GH does a press release the ratings go down. They actually went up but shows what you know
Stay tuned you infinite ninny! People like you thought GH ratings would hold strong after the 50th with your ridiculous claims. Why do you think ABC cares so little about it’s remaining soap? GH will never be a long term winner among the soaps, it has brief surges then trends downwards for weeks, if not months.
Yea but as the press releases have touted GH has had its biggest season overall in 5 years. You are just a well not even worth saying what you are, but I laugh at how pathetic your GH hating is. Even when the numbers prove you wrong, you still are going to hate. You are a pathetic ho.
Good luck when The Chew hits a 1.0 In the 18-49 demo, and they are well on the way!!! Bye Bye, GH!!! ABC treats their soaps so well!!!
yawn yawn yawn GH isn’t going anywhere people like Kevingm and others have been saying that for two years now since AMC and OLTL were cancelled. And GH is still hear going strong. The Chew is already in the daytime lineup so not sure how their ratings going up would cause it get cancelled.
Hahahaha… Now, that was really funny…
“The Chew” has a season average of 0.6-0.7 in the women 18-49 demo, which is about HALF of GH’s numbers.
GH is the number 2 daytime show in the women 18-34 demo – a position that “The Chew” can’t even dream of.
“The Chew” barely hit a 0.9 rating in the women 18-49 demo in its “best week in six months” (last week), which ABC is desperately trying to spin into a success (which it is NOT, of course).
Advertisers are increasingly unwilling to pay for these cheap talk, game and cooking shows that just aren’t drawing the numbers these companies need, while soaps are actually delivering such numbers (the best since 2007-08).
Funny that ABC is so pleased with that rating that they are giving GH so much more money. Oh wait…Frank Valentini just said that ABC is giving them less money and making more and more cuts. So much for their biggest season.
Funny that CBS has also taken money away from its soaps as well.
you do realize that ‘biggest season in 5 years’ means highest-rated season in 5 years!
Days’ numbers boggle my mind. The show is horrible and James Scott’s “acting” last week was so over-the-top that it was comical. Maybe people are tuning in to laugh and point?
Well, apparently you were watching , though, right???? LOLOLOL
Nope, heard about the scenes and caught them on YouTube. I’d hate to miss a good laugh.
Days deserves an increase in viewers. James Scott has so much talent and is very easy on the eyes. Hope Sami & EJ get married soon.
