IT HAPPENED TODAY…
John, in search of Sam, bursts into the Minute Man Motel room. Sam isn’t there, but evidence of the man with Todd’s original face is. Meanwhile, at Todd’s house, the man with Todd’s original face, bent on coercing the truth about what he believes to be his stolen life, marches Todd at gunpoint right up to the door of his own house.
But before he can reveal them to the family inside, they are set upon by Baker and one of his agents. The man with Todd’s original face accuses Todd of being Baker’s cohort. Todd clearly recognizes Baker, who plays dumb about their mysterious connection in front of the man with Todd’s original face. The man with Todd’s original face threatens to kill Todd but is thwarted by the arrival of a second agent. Baker takes the man with Todd’s original face into custody as Todd demands to know what is going on. Baker refuses to enlighten Todd, simply assuring him that he’ll never see the man with Todd’s original face again. Téa nearly catches Todd with Baker.
Meanwhile, Blair continues to worry about Sam’s whereabouts. Baz questions Tomas about his connections to Todd and all the goings-on. On the docks, Baker shoots the man with Todd’s original face and rolls him into the water. Baker makes a call to his unidentified controller to say that the man with Todd’s original face is dead.
John examines evidence left in the man with Todd’s original face’s room, including Kent’s ID and phone, as well as a computer, complete with its search history indicating an interest in Todd Manning.
John locates Sam in another Minute Man room with Dorian and Echo. John returns with Sam, providing the family with a happy reunion. John informs the Mannings that Sam claims the man behind super hero mask is the man with the line on his face.
Natalie enters and brings David and Viki up to speed on the situation with missing Sam. Her update is interrupted by Dorian’s arrival. She tells David and Viki of her kidnapping by Echo and subsequent rescue. David and Dorian clear the air and renew their love. Later, Natalie divulges to Viki the oddity surrounding the identity of Sam’s no-longer imaginary friend.
Joey shows up at La Boulaie on a pretense; his true mission is to spend time with Kelly.
