IT HAPPENED TODAY…

Scott proposes to Annie and she says yes. JR hides his disappointment and the group toast to the happy couple’s engagement.

Tad, Jake and Krystal prepare for Damon’s adoption party. Liza catches Damon taking money out of the register at Krystal’s bar but he swears he planned on paying it back. As a result of the pills Liza replaced his meds with, Damon forgets about his party. Liza spills to Tad that Damon kissed her. Amanda tells Jake about the pictures of Liza on Damon’s phone and they head to the bar to tell Tad. Damon agrees to go to New York with Colby to track down Adam; he convinces Colby its best if they leave immediately.

  • Madison asks Greenlee to give Ryan a chance to move on.

IT HAPPENED TODAY…

Layla discovers her mother has long been aware of the existence of Evangeline’s living will. She wants no extraordinary measures taken to prolong her life. The decision is left in Layla’s hands.

Eli hangs around as Kelly receives a visit from Rex, who has an update on his search for Bennett Thompson. Eli is jarred to receive a call from Lisa Williamson asking for Bennett Thompson.

Charlie and Viki are forced to come clean and admit their plan was a ruse designed to push David and Dorian back into each other’s arms.

Starr consoles Langston after Markko’s departure for Los Angeles. Langston and Starr reconnect and find out what’s been going on in each other’s lives since they last saw each other at graduation. Langston questions Starr about the nature of her relationship with James. Starr insists there is no relationship and she and Cole are working to get back on track.

At the ER, Jessica and Natalie separately learn that they are pregnant.

IT HAPPENED TODAY…

Elizabeth and Nikolas decide they are ready to go home and arrive at the nursery ready to check out their baby and they discover he is missing.

On her way to find out more about Michael’s condition, Carly overhears Patrick and Lisa arguing over their affair while Robin was in Africa.

Michael shows up at the hospital after getting into a fight on his first day at community service. Carly wants Michael to live with her in Dante’s absence, but Lulu refuses to go against the Judge’s wishes which fuels Carly’s desire for vengeance further.

Maxie tells Matt she has come to realize he is the best choice for her.

Johnny does not want to give up on Olivia and arrives at her door with Italian pastries. Brook Lynn invites herself on a boat ride with Johnny.

Claire and Sonny discuss the Franco case and conversation turns into a seduction match.

IT HAPPENED TODAY…

An upsetting call from Emma cuts Ryan and Madison’s trip short but she realizes his daughter needs him. Madison justifies Greenlee’s surprise arrival in New York to a concerned Frankie and admits she’s falling in love with Ryan. Frankie’s upset with David for goading him and accidentally reveals Greenlee was in New York.

Colby’s shocked and upset when she realizes the kiss she saw between Annie and JR was real. JR continues to insist he’s committed to his family and pleads with his sister not to tell anyone about what she saw. JR and Annie realize the only way they can be together is if she was his mistress. Annie feels horrible when she finds Emma crying to Scott over the fight between JR and Colby. Knowing the positive effect Scott has on her daughter, Annie expresses her gratitude. Annie tells Scott she wants to get married.

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — The soap veteran joins the cast of “One Life to Live” in the recasted role of Ross Rayburn. 

According to Soap Opera Digest, Warlock, whose most recent soap stint was as Anthony Blackthorn on “As the World Turns,” began taping his scenes at the “OLTL” studios yesterday, July 19th.  This was after “One Life” learned that Michael Lowry, who portrayed Ross off and on for the past year, was unavailable to reprise the role due to scheduling conflicts.  The role was originated by Shawn Christopher in 2002.

The actor is no stranger to soaps, having also appeared on “General Hospital,” “Days of Our Lives,” and “The Young & the Restless.”  In addition, he has also been a regular on shows such as “Happy Days” and “Baywatch.” 

Warlock will be on recurring status with “OLTL,” and his stint is expected to be short-term.  No first airdate has been announced. 

In other casting news…

David Henry Coffey reprises his role as an ER Doctor on July 20th, when he informs Natalie that she is pregnant.  Coffey last appeared a few weeks ago when James was admitted to the hospital after being shot.

    ONE LIFE TO LIVE: Teasers

    • Monday: Title Not Available — Viki and Charlie realize their plan is working out quite as expected.  Dorian is surprised to find Viki and David in bed together.  Natalie and Jessica remain ill, and decide to head for the ER.  Layla catches her mother about to burn Evangeline’s living will.  Natalie and Jessica accuse David of trying to poison them.  Langston decides she has no right to judge Dorian’s actions. 
    • Tuesday: Title Not Available – Starr and Langston work to strengthen their friendship and get caught up on recent events in each others lives.  Layla is left with a tought decision to make.  Jessica and Natalie each learn they are pregnant.  Viki and Charlie admit they have been trying to push David and Dorian back together.  Eli is shocked when Lisa Williamson calls and asks for Bennett Thompson.  Eli eavesdrops on Kelly and Rex’s conversation.

    • Thursday: Title Not Available – Ford has himself tested after learning of Jessica’s medical history from Kelly.  Dani shares her fears with Greg.  Brody tells John he appreciates all he did in helping him become a cop.  Gigi tries to reason with Natalie, who contemplates getting an abortion.  Ford and James discover someone has paid their medical bills.  Jessica fears Ford has been less than honest about their prom night encounter.

Before permitting his release, Claire tests Jason’s commitment to apprehending Franco. Jason and Dante take off to find Franco in Los Angeles.

    Elizabeth and Nikolas welcome their new child into the world. Shirley notices that the ID bracelet for Elizabeth’s newborn boy ends in the numbers 66. Maxie catches Lucky outside Elizabeth’s labor room and calls him out on his conflicted emotions.

    Sonny puts Warren in his place, connecting that Kiefer learned to abuse because Warren abused him.

    IT HAPPENED TODAY…

    Damon turns to Tad for advice on Colby while Colby turns to Liza. Colby questions how to tell if a guy is cheating on you. Damon finds Colby in the park and apologizes again but when she insinuates that he’s cheating, Damon blows up. Tad finds his own adoption papers from 1978 and shows them to his son. Tad asks Liza if she can see herself as a mother to Damon.

    JR comes to Annie’s rescue and she explains how Tucker treated her like she was nothing. Scott jumps to the wrong conclusion when he sees Annie’s torn shirt. Marissa runs into Tucker and gets the real story of what happened. Colby sees JR and Annie kiss.

    Angie calls Jake for help when she can’t see her way out of the alleyway. Angie’s unsure how she is going to live in a world where she can’t see the faces of the people she loves.

    Chance finds himself in a bind when Ronan let's him know what he's heard in his apartment, Monday, July 19th. That same day Chloe hits a nerve with Billy when she points out that he's jealous. Abby uses her uncle to her advantage and Phyllis advises Daniel to be careful where the young woman is concerned. Friday, July 23rd, Adam could find his freedom slipping away from him; and Chloe provides a shoulder for Chace to lean on when he finds himself in trouble.

    The Inside Story:Home for a Reason
    Word quickly spreads about Christine's return to Genoa City. While visiting, Katherine and Christine have a heart-to-heart; one where she asks if Christine can really handle Paul being with Nina. Christine immediately points out that she in no way feels threatened by their relationshhip, but Katherine tells her that she's lying. As Chris departs, Katherine later has a similar conversation with Nina in hopes to ease her mind on Christine's sudden return. Later that day, Christine makes a kryptic telephone call and reports that she must do whatever she can to protect the person she came back to town for.

    A Closer Look:Starting Over Again
    A flabbergasted Nikki is stunned that Victor wants to make her his wife again. Victor is waiting for Nikki's answer when they are interrupted by Meggie. Nikki, still unsure about the proposal, asks Victor to give her time to decide; to which he agrees to. Nikki departs and finds herself heading over to see Katherine. When she tells Kay the news, she instantly advises Nikki to say no to Victor's proposal, fearing that he'll only hurt her again. When Nikki tells her how much she loves Victor and wants to start over with him, Katherine relents and tells her close friend to follow what her heart tells her. When Nikki returns back to the Newman ranch, Victor surprises her with a foal and expresses just how much he loves and needs her. Nikki gives Victor her answer.

    The Young and the Restless News and Headlines

    • Julia Pace Mitchell joins the show as 'Sofia Dupree' an executive that works for 'Tucker McCall' on Tuesday, July 20th.
    • Eric Roberts will play Adam's lawyer, 'Vance Abrams' on Friday, July 23rd.
    • Now that 'Adam' is back to his troublesome ways, it's no surprise that a blast from his past will arrive to shake things up for him. According to TV Guide actress Signey Coleman, who played 'Hope Wilson' is slated to return. No word as of yet when she is to resume the role.
    • Actor Wilson Bethel, who plays 'Ryder Callahan' has been dropped from the show. Bethel's last airdate is Tuesday, August 3rd. More details to come on how 'Ryder' will head out.
    • Shortly after learning that Jill is Lauren's sister, it is no surprise to have Lauren's mother pay her daughter a visit. Days of Our Lives soap actress, Susan Seaforth Hayes will reprise her role as 'Joanna'. No word yet as to when Seaforth's scenes will begin.
    • Actor Sean Kanan, who plays 'Deacon Sharpe' has taped scenes for the month of July to air
    • Stacy Haiduk who potrays both 'Patty Williams' and 'Emily Peterson' has yet not been picked up for a contract by the show. No word yet from the show on what her characters fates may be.
    • SON Top 10: Who was the best of the best on "Y&R" during the week of July 12, 2010? You decide! The SON Top 10 is back! Voting begins Friday's at 4:00 PM, EST.
