Kelly and Reed begin to drift apart on Monday, June 21. After Reed smashes a vase, Kelly discovers a piece of paper with the name Bennett Thompson written on it. Téa agrees with Todd’s suggestion they tell Dani the truth about her brain tumor. After walking in on her parents in bed, Dani apologizes for being hateful to her mom, and says that, if she and Starr believe Todd is innocent of hurting Marty, that she believes he is as well. Elsewhere in Llanview, Todd kisses Kelly on Tuesday, June 22, however they each quickly admit it was a mistake. Langston confronts Ford regarding their relationship. Dorian drops her plans for Viki and Charlie on Wednesday, June 23. And, when she takes him to the quarry for a picnic, Cristian reminds Layla that they have once more avoided going to Maryland to inform her mother of their engagement.

The Inside Story: A Web of Lies

While searching for Starr, Bull encounters Hannah on Monday, June 21. When he starts questioning her, Hannah pumps the thug for information, and learns Starr and James have run off together. Meanwhile, Ford tells John that Hannah was the person who attacked him. Later, Ford receives a mysterious call telling him he did the right thing. Jessica voices her concerns to Brody about the implication that one of her alters hurt Ford. On Tuesday, June 22, John and Brody search Hannah’s dorm room, where they discover her obsession with Ford and Cole. Across town, Hannah lies to Cole when she tells him that Starr has been having an affair with James. At the same time, Starr tells James she’ll give him the money he owes his dad. Jessica tells Natalie about her evening with Ford. As Starr and James are about to depart from Viki’s cabin, they bump into David on Wednesday, June 23. Hannah takes Cole to a beach house, where she claims Starr and James are staying. The little schemer takes things even further when she plants evidence to make it appear as if Starr and James slept together. While taking a walk in the woods, Rex and Gigi happen upon the metal case left by James. Todd remains convinced that Hannah is trying to frame him.

Charlie arrives at the cabin to find an unconscious David on the floor. James and Starr drive off after stealing a car from a dealership on Friday, June 25. James and Starr contact Bull, and offer him the car in lieu of the money. Cole is about to get intimate with Hannah when he pulls back, deciding he doesn’t want to use Hannah to get even with Starr. Hannah confesses her true feelings to Cole. Blair and Todd search for Starr, and are surprised to learn from the car dealer just how complicit Starr appeared to be in helping steal the vehicle.
