Following her guest appearance on “Beyond the Gates,” Gayle King has signed a new deal with CBS News to remain co-host of “CBS Mornings.” Meanwhile, EP Shawna Thomas is exiting.
“CBS Mornings” co-anchor Gayle King appears as herself on the Monday, February 23 episode of “Beyond the Gates,” helping Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) reveal her diagnosis to the world.
Amid declining ratings, slashed budgets and uncertainty among staffers, “CBS Mornings” is vacating its high-tech Times Square Studio, returning to the CBS Broadcast Center.
“CBS Mornings,” anchored by Gayle King, Tony Dokoupil and Nate Burleson, will feature a behind the scenes look at “Beyond the Gates” on Monday, February 24.
