Debmar-Mercury has renewed “Sherri,” the syndicated daytime talk show hosted by actress and comedian Sherri Shepherd, for a fourth season which will air this fall.
Ahead of the show’s sophomore season launch, scheduled to premiere September 18, “Sherri” has promoted Fernita Wynn to executive producer and showrunner.
Executive producers David Perler and Suzanne Bass, holdovers from “The Wendy Williams Show” era, have been let go from “Sherri,” hosted by Sherri Shepherd.
Nick Cannon addressed his daytime talk show’s cancellation this morning, saying, “We ain’t going nowhere.” Referring to what’s next, he said, “It’s about broadening my audience and really tapping into my audience in a big way.”
