Background: Errol is one of the premier voices covering all five daily daytime dramas, including "Beyond the Gates," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "Days of our Lives," "General Hospital" and "The Young and the Restless." He began watching soaps in 1993, around the time Luke and Laura Spencer returned to “General Hospital,” but they weren’t what got him watching regularly. “It was Lucy Coe and her duck Sigmond,” he says of how he got started with soaps.
He received his BA from Baruch College, double-majoring in English Literature and Journalism, and double-minoring in Communications and Psychology. He also holds an AA in Business Administration.
“Days of our Lives” star Al Calderon has joined the cast of the NBC medical drama “Brilliant Minds,” but Javi Hernandez remains “alive and well in Salem,” relays a spokesperson for the soap opera.
The August guests appearing on “Soapy Hosted by Rebecca Budig and Greg Rikaart” include Maurice Benard, Marc Cherry, Heather Tom, Lawrence Saint-Victor, Christian LeBlanc and Tracey Bregman.
Lauralee Bell explains how she got cast on “The Young and the Restless,” what her mother wanted her to do instead of acting, and how her father set her straight on the hard work being done while she was “sleeping.”
Following in the footsteps of Karen Huger, “Beyond the Gates” will welcome more stars from “The Real Housewives of Potomac” when Wendy Osefo and Gizelle Bryant appear on the soap opera in the fall.
Conner Floyd concluded his run as Phillip “Chance” Chancellor IV on “The Young and the Restless” with his character dying in the arms of Cane Ashby, a poignant plot point both in story and real life.
Bryton James from “The Young and the Restless” will be making a crossover appearance on “Beyond the Gates” as his character, Devon Winters, visits the Duprees in Fairmont Crest.
The SAG-AFTRA National Board has approved the Net TV Code deal that will see wage gains (compounded increase of 9.8% over three years), require the use of intimacy coordinators, and the adoption of future AI terms.
A daily breakdown of what will happen during the week of July 28-August 1, 2025 on CBS’ “The Young and the Restless.”
Lauralee Bell recalls scenes she taped under the direction of then executive producer of “The Young and the Restless,” Wesley Kenney, which made her so scared and thankful social media wasn’t around at the time.
