There’s a new doctor scrubbing in at “General Hospital.” Matt Cohen has landed the role of Dr. Griffin Munro. The character makes his Port Charles debut the first week of February.
Soaps In Depth broke the casting news, noting that the soap wasn’t releasing any details about the character — not even his medical specialty.
Although a daytime newcomer, Cohen has substantial primetime credits. He was a series regular on “South of Nowhere” and “Rockville CA.” His most recent TV credits include “How to Get Away with Murder” and “Supernatural,” where he recurs as Young John Winchester.
With Jason Thompson‘s recent exit as Dr. Patrick Drake, the show was in need of a new medico to round out the GH staff.
