IT HAPPENED TODAY…

Marissa goes with Bianca to confront the mother of the bully. The mother, Tami, tells Bianca that she doesn’t want her daughter around lesbians and says some other homophobic things. Marissa sticks up for her friend. Marissa tells Bianca she doesn’t mind if she is labeled now because she would be honored to have been chosen as Bianca’s partner. AJ tells JR about the fight and JR is proud of his son for sticking up for Miranda. He tells Marissa they should go to the school board so no one has to be ashamed of who they are.

With Amanda at his bedside, Jake has flashes of his wedding to both Cara and Amanda. Amanda’s surprised to find out Jake was hurt because of Cara and asks if Cara is trying to destroy her husband. Tad admits to Cara that he and Jake argued about her and he insisted that Jake keep his distance. Cara bonds with Kathy & Jenny and is hit when they reveal their father is happy because of her. Tad admits to JR the truth about his marriage but says his feelings for Cara are growing. Tad and Amanda walk into Jake’s room as he and Cara are reminiscing about their wedding. She tells Jake she doesn’t want him fighting her battles anymore.

Ricky continues to plot his elopement with Kendall and finds a man to captain the boat. After the man says he can perform the wedding Ricky hires him and practices his proposal. A group of teenage boys show up at the abandoned house where Griffin and Kendall are and Griffin wins their trust while helping out one of the boys. He and Kendall continue to bond and Griffin admits he’s gotten attached to her. The boys return with food and in Spanish they tell Griffin that Kendall’s hot, he should go for it. He decides to go out on the streets with the kids to try and find the missing drugs from the hospital.
