(SoapOperaNetwork.com) – Four stars with a history on “All My Children” reveal life-changing news.
Vincent Irizarry, who turns a handsome 51 this November, has announced that he and his wife of thirteen years, Avalon House, are in the process of getting a divorce. The actor whose career on daytime spans nearly three decades recently confessed to ABC Soaps In Depth that he and his wife have been separated for the better part of this year. Irizarry shares two children with Avalon; their daughter Aria was born in 1997 and their son Elias was born in 2001. Irizarry was formerly married to former “Guiding Light” and “The Young and the Restless” star Signy Coleman. The couple divorced in 1992 after three years of marriage; that marriage produced a daughter named Siena Sophia. Irizarry oldest child is a son named Ash Harris who is serving in the U.S. military.
Irizarry began his career on CBS’s “GL in 1983. Soap Opera Network has a feeling “All My Children” fans haven’t seen the last of the presumed dead Dr. David Hayward; the Emmy winner has spent more than a decade cultivating the bad seed character that was presumably killed off in September 2010.
Soap Opera Digest revealed today that Irizarry’s former co-star Aidan Turner has split from his wife as well. Turner married Megan Marshall in April 2006. Megan gave birth to the couple’s daughter Ciella Larryn in August of 2009. Turner portrayed Pine Valley’s hottest private detective Aidan Devane on “AMC” from June 2002 to December 2009. The 33-year old actor earned a coveted spot on season 10 of ABC’s hit competition series “Dancing with The Stars.”
On Tuesday afternoon, Eden Riegel took to Twitter to announce that she’s with child. The 29-year old actress has been married to 41-year old actor, writer and director Andrew Miller since September 30, 2007. Riegel is due in May 2011. Riegel of course played Bianca Montgomery on “All My Children” from July 2000 to January 2010. In April, the actress joined the cast of “Y&R” as Heather Stevens.
Ricky Paull Goldin and his partner “Rachael Ray Show” correspondent Gretta Monahan welcomed daughter Kai Rei on October 22. This is Goldin’s first child. The 45-year old actor, who has a rich history in daytime from “AMC” currently to the defunct daytime dramas “Another World” and “GL,” has been married three times; his past wives include actresses Yasmine Bleeth and Priscilla Taylor and British producer Emma Ford.
