( — Just as one member of the Evans clan is fired, another is placed on contract.  Only weeks after “One Life to Live” announced the firing of Terrell Tilford (Greg Evans), his onscreen brother Sean Ringgold (Shaun Evans) is bumped up from recurring status with the sudser.

By signing Ringgold, who has portaryed the tough, but sensitive bodyguard since 2007, to a contract, “One Life” appears to be committed to the continued presence of the Evans family in Llanview.

The actor, who has done some professional security work, has appeared in “Notorious,” “Gossip Girl,” and “American Gangster.”

In other news…

Steph Garcia, who plays a Buenos Dias waitress, has announced that she taped more scenes earlier this month.  This marks her seventh appearance on the show thus far.

And “OLTL” Writer Scott Sickles comments that upcoming episodes he helped pen will air on October 29th, and November 9th, 16th, 22nd, and 30th.
