(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — Spend an afternoon with your favorite TV and Broadway stars and help celebrate their success.

On Sunday, May 23rd, Florencia Lozano (Téa) and Terrell Tilford (Greg) will appear at the “Roots of Success Symposium” sponsored by the Developing Artists Theater Company in New York City.  They will be joined by other television and stars, who will “share their experiences moving on up through the branches of the tree of success in this intimate setting at Center Stage, New York.”  The moderator will be Broadway star Russell G. Jones (OBIE Award winner for Ruined).

The event will consist of two panel discussions.  The first will be from 4:30-6:00 pm ET and will feature Lozano and Tilford, along with Emilio Delgado (“Sesame Street”) and Marnie Schulenburg (Alison, “As the World Turns”).

The 6:30-8:00 pm ET panel will feature Karine Plantadit (Come Fly Away), Stephen McKinley Henderson (Fences), Russell Hornsby (Fences), Eisa Davis (Passing Strange), and Lynda Gravatt (Cat On A Hot Tin Roof).

Tickets for each panel discussion are $40.00, and can be purchased by clicking here, or at the door for $50.00 (the site also has more information concerning the event).  Also, there will be a party following the second panel discussion, where guests can meet and greet their favorite stars.

As an added bonus, there will be a world premiere screening of the short film (shot earlier this year) by Developing Artists’ alumni Ben Snyder and his friend Ari Issler.  The name of the film is “Hector is Gonna Kill Nate.”

Here is a plot summary from the press release: “Mr. Settara, is getting ready to coach a high school basketball game against his team’s arch rivals. It is seemingly just another day but the most unlikely hurdles keep popping up. Hector wants revenge. Cortez wants to start. Nate wants to live and Mr. Settara will go to extraordinary lengths just to play the game.”

The film stars Marco Greco, Terrell Schuyler, Carlo Alban, Portia, Alano Miller, and Turron Kofi Alleyne.  It was directed by Ari Issler, and written and produced by Issler and Ben Snyder.

The “Roots of Success Symposium” will be located at 48 West 21st Street 4th Floor – Buzzer 401#  in New York City.

“One Life to Live” airs Weekdays on ABC. Weeknights on SOAPnet. Anytime on ABC.com and SOAPnet.com. Check local listings.
