‘One Life’ Casting ‘Principal’ Role

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — Prepare for more teenage drama and angst around the halls of Llanview High in the coming months, as word comes that “One Life to Live” is looking to fill an important role.

Late last week the soap released an audition script for the role of a “High School Principal.” While specific details remain sketchy, it is reported that the role will be recurring. The Llanview High principal was last portrayed by Michelle M. Robinson in 2008; Charlotte d’Amboise played Vice Principal Dickinson in 2009.

In other casting news…

It is RUMORED that Dan Gauthier‘s upcoming “OLTL” return will only consist of five episodes. 

Laura Bonarrigo is reportedly back for six episodes as Cassie Carpenter when she briefly returns next month.  Melissa Fumero (Adriana) revealed last month that “I’ll be back for about 4 shows, I think. I believe I’ll mostly be working with Gina T. [Tognoni] who’s coming back as Kelly.”  Gina Tognoni first airs as Kelly on February 12th.  According to her Facebook page, she began filming last Thursday (January 7th). 

Kristen Alderson (Starr) tweets that “worked with the Cramer women today [January 8th] =) ohh the drama that unfolds on OLTL… you’ll love it”  She also says that she has taped some good scenes with this week with her co-stars Kassie DePaiva (Blair), Brittany Underwood (Langston), and Brandon Buddy (Cole).

And Luke Sholl posts on his website that he was “Shooting another U/5 on ‘One Life To Live’ as a Cop” on December 8th.  His scenes should air sometime later this month.  Sholl appeared as a dayplayer cop named Officer Joe Bensen at various times throughout 2009.
