(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — A “Storm of Change” sweeps over Llanview, and no one will ever be the same.

It may not be the same storm that blew through the fictional Pennsylvania hamlet back in 2003, which ushered Michael Malone and Josh Griffith back to the “One Life to Live” writing staff, but it still promises to pack a punch nonetheless.

For starters, nearly half of Llanview sets out to converge on an abandoned observatory atop Llantano Mountain where cult leader Mitch Laurence has dastardly plans for his daughter Jessica and his unborn grandchild. However, things take an unexpected turn when the snow begins to fall on Wednesday, February 3rd.

After Natalie and Brody help John escape from jail, the trio easily manage to allude the authorities. And it isn’t long before they get a lead on Mitch’s location. Meanwhile, Rex takes Stacy to Llanview Hospital when she fakes going into labor. Catching her alone, Charlie and Dorian approach Stacy with intentions of using her as bait to lure Mitch out of hiding. But their plan hits a snag when they are confronted by a gun-toting Nurse Charles.

After dragging the former Vegas pole dancer to her car, the satanic care-giver quickly speeds off into the night, where they are soon followed by Charlie and Dorian. As the snow begins to pick up in intensity, all three parties find themselves on a collision course. But will everyone survive?

Later, the bad nurse takes Stacy to Mitch’s lair, where she spots a disoriented Jessica. Frightened not only for her own life, but for that of her unborn child, Stacy resorts to drastic measures in an attempt to worm her way out of a tight spot…by telling the truth. However, the confession isn’t music to Mitch’s ears, and he soon pulls a Todd Manning and kicks the pregnant woman out into the blizzard (Todd once did something similar to Téa). But it doesn’t end there. With Stacy’s child no longer being the “chosen one,” Mitch hatches his most disgusting scheme yet to assure that his “ministry” will live on to a new generation.

Elsewhere, Schuyler treks to Viki’s lodge after his car slids off the road, but is soon assaulted by a tree branch. Back at the cabin, Gigi grows concerned about her boyfriend, and sets off to find him, only to stumble upon Stacy instead. Gigi and Stacy are soon forced to put their differences aside when the latter goes into labor — for real. But after helping her sister give birth, will Gigi be able to get to help for the premature newborn before it is too late?

Plus, Dorian struggles with a guilty conscience over plotting to kill the cult leader. Charlie accidentally shoots the wrong person when he confronts Mitch. Rex makes a disturbing discovery in Schuyer’s backpack. Jessica has no memory of her loved ones. Natalie dreams of her dead husband. Rex and Fish (and later Kim) search for Stacy, and Marty for John. Greg discovers that a sample of a certain drug is missing from the hospital’s inventory. And much, much more!
