‘DAYS’ Star Judi Evans Diagnosed with COVID-19, Nearly Had Both Legs Amputated on Two Separate Occasions

"Days of our Lives" star Judi Evans has been diagnosed with COVID-19 and nearly had both legs amputated during continued hospitalization, weeks after falling off her horse and breaking many bones and some ribs.

Nearly a month since falling off of her horse and breaking many bones and some ribs, “Days of our Lives” star Judi Evans (Adrienne Kiriakis) has now been diagnosed with COVID-19 and nearly had both of her legs amputated.

According to a representative for the actress, Evans is still in the hospital 23 days since the horse accident. While there she contracted COVID-19 as doctors found COVID-related blood clots in her legs. Both legs were nearly amputated on two separate occasions. Evans’ COVID-related symptoms include “fever, aches, a cough and the blood clots.”

The rep noted Evans is in good spirits. “She has said she appreciates all the prayers for her and they’ve helped her mentally, physically and spiritually! She just wants to continue to test negative on COVID19 before she can go home and get the rest she so needs!”
